Yesterday the team ministered at an orphanage. We provided hygiene kits for each child, reading glasses for the staff, and had songs, prayer and some personal time with them. Thank you for making this possible for the least of these. Also, we were able to buy some more building material we are thankful for all of you that have lifted us up in prayer and helped financially. We are almost to our goal!

Update #4!
The whole city of Abancay and beyond is astir. The television stations are covering the various events and inviting everyone out to the health expos and evangelistic series. Praise the Lord! Ostap also shared about the church construction project and now as all eyes are on us we ask that you consider joining us on this adventure through your prayers and financial support!

Update #3!
BRI is helping to build a new church in the city of Abancay, Peru! This is a mountain town of about 100,000 people.
A church member from CA told Ostap about this great need. He is an elderly church member. He and his sister with her husband who is partially disabled came with Ostap on this trip to help build this new church. He is in his 70's and wants to help.
The money will be used for concrete, boards, and steel for the construction of the main sanctuary.
We still need $4,000 for this week.

Update #2! The evangelistic meetings are very well attended, Praise the Lord. People are hungering and thirsting for the truth. We have long lines that start very early in the morning for the health expos as many cannot afford basic health checkups. Construction material is very expensive up in the mountains. We desperately need at least $4000 this week to be able to help with the construction of the church. We appreciate your prayers and support.

Update #1! November 1 we arrived in beautiful Peru! After a 6 hour drive up the mountains we arrived to Abancay and had the opportunity to assess the church building needs. We quickly realized we would need a lot more money if we were going to be able to help our brothers and sisters worshiping on a concrete soccer field slab. We began by faith. In the evenings we are holding an evangelistic series and in the mornings we are conducting health expos. Thank you for your support and prayers!

November 1 - 12, 2023 BRI will be conducting a mission trip in Peru. We will help to build a church building. Currently our brothers and sisters up in the mountains are worshiping on a concrete soccer field slab.
