SCOPE:
Come learn how to:
Renovate a building to start a center of influence.
Repair walls and fix up a fence.
Trim trees safely and Landscaping.
Start a farm.
Take home these valuable skills and much more all while being a blessing!

Finish electrical updates for the house
Install new A/C ducts
New furnace and A/C install
Tile work in the last 2 showers
Flooring - upstairs about 1,200 Sq. Ft.
Baseboards and trim - 400 ft
Install 2 exterior doors - 36 inch wide
Lighting - bathrooms, living area, and hallways
Remove 12 old metal windows and install new vinyl windows
Door trim - 18 doors need trim
Remove old attic insulation - Install new insulation
Sheetrock - finish repairs and install in the kitchen ceiling, reception room, and bathrooms
Texture - texture all new sheetrock and patches
Primer - whole house, about 3,000 sq. ft.
Paint - whole house, about 3,000 sq. ft.
Fencing - remove old fence about 600 linear feet and install new fence.
Closest Major Airport: Hobby Airport (HOU), and Bush International Airport (IAH)
LODGING:
We will be staying on site. No linens are provided. Please bring your own linens and sleeping bag, air mattress, or sleeping pad.
WEATHER: The weather will be in the mid - high 90's in the day and mid 60's at night.
Mission Trip Packing List
Items to Bring
• Bible (Paper Copy) and other devotional/reading materials
• Lightweight back pack
• Personal snacks – e.g., energy/granola bars, nuts, or dried fruit
• Ear Plugs (in case the person next to you snores), sleep mask
• Flip-flops
• Flashlight
• Spending money for personal use
• Personal toiletries (soap, toothpaste, deodorant, mirror, razor, etc.)
Work Clothes and Gear
• Work pants (lightweight cotton preferred, cargo)
• Good working shoes (work boots or hard-soled shoes are safest)
• Socks – (1 pair for each day)
• T-shirts; short or long-sleeved cotton shirts
• Water bottle(s) (Wide mouth, refillable)
• Work gloves (2 pair recommended)
Off-site Clothes
• Casual shirts, pants, and blouses
• Dress shirts, slacks, and shoes (men) for church*
• Dresses, skirts/blouses, and shoes (women) for church*
• Swimming suits (modest, one piece), beach towel
• Socks, Underclothes (microfiber quick dry—optional)
