Restore Belize Mission Trip

Build and Restore International (BRI) invites you to join us in Belize. This will be an unforgettable experience. We will participate in a church building project, evangelism, community outreach, and health seminars. This mission trip will have multiple opportunities to serve and minister to others. As always, mission trips require a desire to glorify God, teamwork, hard work, and safety. We ask that these values be considered as you make a decision to join us. Prayerfully consider joining us on this exciting journey to the beautiful country of Belize!

WHEN:  May 17th – 30th, 2021
WHERE:  Carmelita, Belize (TZA is the airport code)
COST:  $1200 per person + Flights (payments need to be made in full by May 13th, 2021)


What’s Included:
Ground transportation from the airport
Excursion to see local sights
Local housing
Food - 3 vegetarian meals per day(travel days may delay meals and timing, please bring snacks)(let us know if you have allergies or special needs)
Local transportation in country
What’s NOT Included:
Flights
Any personal expenses, snacks or souvenirs
Hotel, food, and transportation before or after the mission trip
SCOPE:
1.  Help build a new church.
2.  Health presentations and an evangelistic series.
3.  Health Expo programs for the community. 
TRAVEL:
Arrival:  Please plan to arrive on Monday, May 17th
Departure:  Please plan to depart on Sunday May 30th
LODGING:
We will be staying at the Move school. No linens are provided. Please bring your own linens and/or sleeping bag.
WEATHER:
The weather will be in the high 80's in the day and mid 70's at night
EXCURSION:
We are going to visit the local sights near our project. Will be a great time. 

Mission Trip Packing List

Items to Bring
• Bible(Paper Copy) and other devotional/reading materials
• Lightweight back pack
• Personal snacks – e.g., energy/granola bars, nuts, or dried fruit
• Ear Plugs (in case the person next to you snores), sleep mask
• Flip-flops
• Small flashlight
• Spending money for personal use
• Personal toiletries (soap, toothpaste, deodorant, mirror, razor, etc.)
• Charcoal tablets
• Wet wipes and or toilet paper
Work Clothes and Gear
• Work pants (lightweight cotton preferred, cargo)
• Good working shoes (work boots or hard-soled shoes are safest)
• Socks – (1 pair for each day)
• T-shirts; (long-sleeved shirts prefered)
• Water bottle (Refillable)
• Good quality work gloves (2 pair recommended)
Off-site Clothes
• Casual shirts, pants, and blouses
• Dress shirts, slacks, and shoes (men) for church*
• Dresses, skirts/blouses, and shoes (women) for church*
• Swimming suits (modest, one piece), beach towel
• Socks, Underclothes (microfiber quick dry—optional)
• Hat (to protect from sun, needs to cover your neck)
• Sunglasses
Linens
• Sheets and blanket and/or a light sleeping bag
• Small pillow
• Shower towel and wash cloth
