How We Got Started

After much prayer, the Lord provided an opportunity for me to step out of my comfort zone, to leave my current employment, and go into full-time ministry. By God’s grace, I enrolled in an evangelism school (AFCOE) and was impressed with how much I learned. I answered a call to help with an evangelistic series, where my host family felt impressed by God to tell me that I should start my own ministry and suggested I study Isaiah 58.  I began to pray, study this passage, and share this idea with my close friends and family. In Isaiah 58:12, I found the words to organize the ministry God would have me to lead, as well as the inspiration for the name of our ministry. Thus, our ministry Build and Restore International (BRI) was born.

With much prayer and the help of my host family and friends, the Lord provided all the pieces of the puzzle that I needed to begin drafting the mission, vision, and goals of BRI. Not long after, the Lord sent friends to assist me in designing my logo. Another friend of mine offered to help me with taking pictures for the website. In a short period of two weeks, the Lord had sent just the right people that I needed to begin building the ministry from the ground up.

What a tremendous blessing it has been for me to watch how the Lord took care of every single detail and was forward thinking in helping me to get to this point in my life where we are now able to begin growing the ministry and expanding our efforts in our local communities and around the world. We are excited to begin this faith journey with the Lord and I know that as we put our faith in the Lord, He will bless our efforts and provide all that is needed for His work to move forward in this time in earth’s history when we see the signs of the time telling us that His return is very near.

My prayer is that we can fully trust in the Lord in all that we do and give Him the honor and the glory that He so deserves as our Creator, Redeemer, and Savior.  Amen
