Testimony from Houston

We are grateful for the numerous groups of volunteers who have come to assist with the Houston property. During the initial visits, the volunteers would gather around the table for lunch, enjoying food donated by church members and community members. Comments like "we need a refrigerator in this house" would arise. Subsequently, a volunteer would head to Lowes, order a refrigerator, and arrange for it to be delivered.

When we required a new roof for the building, we would sit around the table, and a volunteer would request bank information, leading to funds being sent that week to cover the roof costs—$20,000! Then, the Lord provided us with essential vehicles. After sending out a text message, our faithful supporters would call in to donate vehicles they no longer needed. When we requested an RV to accommodate volunteers on the property, just three days later, an RV was generously donated to us.

Trailers, lawn equipment, ATVs, and more have been generously contributed to this project. We were without a water heater when a volunteer offered a brand new one from his shop that had never been used. Additionally, a brand new washer and dryer were donated, along with furnaces and an A/C unit. It’s truly remarkable to witness how the Lord has been looking out for us, meeting our needs and then some.
