Liberia, Costa Rica, Mission Project

We are excited to share a brief update from our recent Build and Restore International mission project in Liberia, Costa Rica (March 29 – April 8, 2026). It was an incredible time of service and collaboration with 73 volunteers on the ground, and we also saw a powerful response from supporters at home who generously gave in real time as needs were shared through our fundraising updates. That combined effort between field and home team made a measurable impact on everything accomplished.

By God’s grace, our team was able to serve through Vacation Bible School, a Health Expo, and health talks across four different locations. Alongside the outreach, we completed key construction and renovation work including building a new classroom, installing ceramic flooring in three classrooms, painting the chapel, and installing a new door.

This project was made possible through a combination of resources and volunteer effort. The total cost of materials and supplies was $18,890, with a direct BRI budget contribution of $4,640. Our volunteers contributed an estimated 2,472 labor hours, representing a value of approximately $35,030. This resulted in an estimated overall project cost savings of $26,740.
