Hawaii Mission Trip, 2019

Hawaii is so beautiful, and I never expected I’d go on a mission trip there. But just like every place in our planet, there are people there that have not heard about Jesus. 

Camp Waianae found a very special place in my heart, it was really interesting to learn about their ministry. When a volcano erupted last May 2018, the camp sponsored 65 kids to come and be fed,clothed,sheltered, and taught about Jesus love. The children that came had been scared of the volcano gods, but when they left they realized there was a God much greater than all their fears, and  that He loved them very much. 
On this mission trip we were able to give a little bit back to this great ministry on the island of Oahu. We painted and fixed up the two camp houses, stained the wood fences, and even helped finish building a suite for another family wanting to move in and be apart of the ministry. I think this camp makes a big impact in many lives, so it was a blessing to be able to help make a difference with them. To be apart of this mission trip was such a blessing.
